Perform a variety of duties to ensure the care, maintenance and husbandry of the satellite transgenic mouse facility. Maintain animal care and cleanliness of the facility. Primarily be responsible for all issues involved in the care of transgenic mice in individually ventilated cages in close collaboration with investigators in the Laboratory of Genetic Neuropharmacology. Must be proficient in non-AWA regulated species, have experience in or cross-trained in AWA regulated and non-regulated species with willingness to work with all species of animals including non-human primates. Must be building cross-trained if hierarchical promotion. Must have the ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities. Works well with others in a team.
