The candidate Will assist in preparing short and long range plans and budgets based on strategic objectives. Establish and directs short and long term clinical staffing planning in accordance with the strategic plan of the organization. Will participate in the formulation and implementation of a successful leadership development program for new and current supervisors. Responsibilities include creating, refining and implementing clinical procedures. Responsible for maintaining current functionality and implementing changes in the Hospital Information System. Assist with the development and oversee the budgets of various departments, and work with respective supervisors to achieve expected results.

Qualifications Required:
* Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary technology program
(Students completing their degree at the end of the current semester may apply and be considered for this vacancy; however, degree must be completed prior to start of employment.)
* Candidates must be registered in Indiana within six months
* Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
* Ability to read and write English
* Ability to lift and carry 25 to 50 pounds frequently and 60 pounds occasionally

Additional Information:

* A minimum of two months per year of night shift duty is required with this position.
* Will be required to participate in rotation for after-hour on-call emergencies and holiday coverage
* Occasional overtime may be required
* A check of criminal conviction records will be made for employment in this position.
