Suspensions for parking-related offenses are excluded. The Marine Mammal Trainer/Zoo Keeper performs all aspects of marine mammal training and husbandry. This includes assisting in establishing proper diet and feeding protocols, maintaining clean, safe animal areas and exhibits, training and maintaining husbandry behaviors, public presentations, water quality monitoring, behavioral observations, animal enrichment, collaborating on exhibit design and construction, administering appropriate treatments or corrective actions and maintaining accurate records. This position is also responsible for the husbandry and care of birds, fish, amphibians, reptile, invertebrates, and other animals.
